Years of Experience: 2-4 years
Role: The Research Analyst will be responsible for creating new and maintaining existing interactive applications in conjunction with the editor/product manager, ensuring data integrity, data management for applications, creating and arranging for editorial content in the area of expertise and managing section home pages with page view targets in mind.
Relevant Profile:
• Have a deep understanding of stocks/mutual funds/tax/insurance/bank products
• Should be able to work in conjunction with technology team to define and describe business logic for creating interactive applications
• Have good writing skills, should be able to independently undertake research based content creation
• Be able to independently ideate both story ideas and also ideas for deriving maximum value out of data based applications
• Should be networked in broker/research/FII/analyst community and company managements
• Should have editorial judgment
Position Name : Ad Sales Co-ordinator
Qualification: Graduate, MBA (Marketing)
Years of Experience: 2-4 years
Role: Will be working as a part of the Brand Team and will be responsible for monitoring, accessing, improvising the Ad-Sales revenues. This person will be the link between Business and Ad Sales. She/He will also be responsible for mapping the competitive landscape. Monitoring all Ad positions, Ad Campaigns, Ad Performance, Inventory, Inventory utilization, sales, pricing, targeting, concept creation, value enhancement for all advertising that happens on the website. He will work closely with the Sales team to formulate strategy for revenue enhancement, innovation, targeting.
Relevant Profile: The ideal candidate should come from online/media industry – either from media sales or agency background. Should be well-versed with Internet marketing and solution selling. Should understand internet media metrics well and have a general idea of media metrics in other channels as well.
Position Name: Business Development and Alliances Manager
Qualification: MBA (Marketing)
Years of Experience: 6-8 years
Role: The Business Development and Alliances Manager (BDAM) would be the key business driver and will be responsible to generate revenue streams, BDAM will map the competitive environment on a regular basis and be aware of all the new developments in online business domain. Responsible for developing strategic relationships with Alliance and Partners to expand service offerings, generate demand and sales. He/She will be responsible for creating new revenue streams and driving the revenue and customer acquisition targets. Identifying and managing strategic alliances with partners.
Relevant Profile:
▪ Experience in alliance and partner development and managing relationships that drive significant growth in opportunities and revenue
▪ In depth knowledge of online / offline channel, partner and alliance development and selling strategies, including support and incentive structures, contract negotiation and strategic relationship management
▪ Experience in solutions and services sales through entire life-cycle of consulting, development, implementation, system integration, and management and support services
▪ Exposure to online financial services and media business desirable
▪ Must be internet and technology savvy (understanding of technology, client expectations, which/how alliance deals can be structured)
▪ General understanding of the market – customers & competitors
▪ Ability to develop executive level relationships.
▪ Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills required
▪ Understanding of consumer mindsets and marketing.
Position Name: Product Manager
Qualification: MBA (Finance /Marketing /IT)
Years of Experience: 4-8 years
Role: The Product Manager needs to be an analytical and detail oriented person who will map the competitive environment on a regular basis and be aware of all the new developments in his/her product domain. The PM will create preliminary product concept, roadmap and business plan and then drive the implementation of product through its life cycle. As part of the EconomicTimes.com Product Management Group, the Product Manager will need to understand customer’s needs/requirements, industry segment and will work closely with Technical Developers, user interface designers, and QA engineers, Marketing and Business Development to ensure that product goals are met.
Relevant Profile:
▪ Deep understanding of Stock Markets and Personal Financial Products.
▪ Internet Domain knowledge with passion for the Net and an ability to think out of the box.
▪ Excellent communication skills.
▪ Understanding of consumer mindsets and marketing.
▪ A fair understanding of Design and Usability concepts as well internet technologies.
▪ Exposure to SEO/SEM and running and managing Ad campaigns will be an advantage.
