Dear reader,

Jobs Media is two years old now.

It’s been a hugely satisfying journey; one which has brought this blog many friends and followers.

We’ve continued to grow steadily, even if slowly, and your patronage has taken this blog from strength to strength, through moments when one has wondered if all this is worth the while.

The answer to that is: yes, it is worth the while. Many of you have found jobs through this blog, and Jobs Media has had the good fortune of hearing some of your success stories.

Hey, we even got ourselves a mention in the Economic Times!

While you were following this BlogSpot, Jobs Media has been working behind the scenes to bring you its new, improved and self-hosted version.

Jobs Media can now be followed at http://jobsmedia.in.

The alternate URL is http://jobs.urbanmunky.com.

You can also follow Jobs Media on SMS, Twitter and Facebook, apart from Orkut, RSS, and email.

Jobs Media has also retained Profiles, News/Links and Reader Discussions, and we hope to pursue these sections more actively in the future.

How do you like the new design? And in what ways can we improve this community of media students and professionals?

Feel free to leave a comment or write in to jobsmediablog@gmail.com

Happy job hunting!

AR Hemant,

Founder, Jobs Media

This is a significant growth story from being a blog to full-fledged media jobs website…..signalling the maturity of media organisations and a better and an attempt for systematic hiring mechanism in Indian media…as it has been in west..Being one of the first of its kind would also prove to be a formidable advantage….Good Luck !
